By Plane
Strasbourg Airport (SXB):
- Airport Shuttle: Take the shuttle train from Strasbourg Airport to the Strasbourg Railway Station (Gare de Strasbourg). The journey takes about 9 minutes.
- Tram: From Strasbourg Railway Station, take tram line C towards Neuhof Rodolphe Reuss. Get off at the “Wacken” stop, which is a short walk from the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès.
Frankfurt Airport (FRA):
- Train: Take a direct train from Frankfurt Airport to Strasbourg Railway Station. The journey takes approximately 2 hours.
- Tram: From Strasbourg Railway Station, follow the tram directions mentioned above.
- Airport Shuttle: Take the shuttle bus from Frankfurt Airport to Strasbourg.
By Train
Strasbourg is well-connected by high-speed trains (TGV, ICE) from major European cities:
- From Paris: TGV trains run frequently, taking around 1 hour and 45 minutes.
- From Frankfurt: Direct ICE trains take about 2 hours and 10 minutes.
- From Basel: Direct trains take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

By Car
Strasbourg is accessible via several major highways:
- From Paris: Take the A4 highway towards Strasbourg.
- From Frankfurt: Take the A5 highway towards Basel and exit at Strasbourg.
- From Basel: Take the A35 highway towards Strasbourg.
Parking:
- The Palais de la Musique et des Congrès has ample parking facilities. Follow the signs for visitor parking.

When traveling by car in Strasbourg, you will need an Crit’Air sticker. This environmental badge is mandatory for driving in low-emission zones, helping to reduce pollution. The sticker classifies vehicles based on their emissions.
To obtain the Crit’Air sticker, visit the official Certificat Air website and provide your vehicle’s registration details. The cost is around €3.70, and the sticker will be mailed to you. Make sure to apply well in advance of your trip and display the sticker on your windscreen.
